Bus routes approved & budget discussed at North Nodaway Board meeting

North Nodaway Board of Education held their regular August meeting earlier this week.

One of the agenda items discussed included the 2019-20 fiscal year budget. North Nodaway Superintendent, James Simmelink, says there were no deficits in the initial budget.

"We hope the expenses are nothing that will jump up unexpected, but we'll see how the year goes.  It depends on how cold it goes and how much snow we get."

The North Nodaway Tax Levy was set at 4.0605, and a debt service levy was set at 59 cents.
Simmelink says bus routes were approved as presented.
